Installation and precautions of mechanical seals:
1. The sealing part of the equipment should be kept clean during installation, and the sealing parts should be cleaned. The sealing end face should be intact to prevent impurities and dust from entering the sealing part;
2. During the installation process, it is strictly prohibited to touch or tap to avoid damaging the mechanical seal friction pair and causing the seal to fail;
3. During installation, a layer of clean mechanical oil should be applied to the surface in contact with the seal to facilitate smooth installation;
4. When installing the static ring cover, the screws must be tightened evenly to ensure that the static ring end face is perpendicular to the axis;
5. After installation, push the moving ring by hand to make it move flexibly on the shaft without any jamming and with a certain degree of elasticity;
6. After installation, manually rotate the shaft, and the shaft should have no sense of weight;
7. The equipment must be filled with medium before operation to prevent seal failure due to dry friction;
8. For easily crystallized granular media or media with a temperature greater than 80C, corresponding flushing, filtering, and cooling measures should be taken. For various auxiliary devices, please refer to the relevant regulations for the use of mechanical seals.
9. Mechanical seals that have been in operation for a certain period of time always require maintenance. To maximize reliability, it is recommended to return used seals to the factory for repair or contact Sumi technical personnel
